JAGMAC On Blue Peter

Super excited here in Jagmac Towers. This Thursday, Jagmac are appearing LIVE on Blue Peter on CBBC. If you’re from the UK, you’ll know how epic this is – especially as we’ve been promised we’ll get our own BLUE PETER BADGES. (squeak!)

If you’re not from the UK, you might not know that Blue Peter is a children’s show that’s been running on the BBC, not just since before we were born, but before our parents were born. It’s still hugely popular, because it’s SO GOOD. We’ll be performing our new single which is conveniently also called So Good, and doing a short martial arts display to prove that though we’ve been out on the road with Little Mix, our Tae Kwon Do hasn’t gotten rusty.
We’ll be chatting with the presenters and showing them a couple of moves too. (Though we expect Blue Peter presenters have to pretty tough – as you’ll know if you’ve ever searched for Lulu the baby elephant online.)
The show airs live on CBBC between 5 and 5.30pm on Thursday 7th, April. Tune in to watch us getting our coveted Blue Peter Badges. They better have 6 of them or else there could be trouble.

UK arrival – Alyssa

Wow, these past few weeks have been crazy with rehearsals and  travelling and shooting videos and photo shoots, but it’s all been so incredible, I wanted to stop for a moment and write something down.

I feel so so blessed to be in this beautiful country. Seems like everywhere you look is steeped in history and culture.

Back home in Baltimore, I spent much of my time on my own, sitting at the piano writing songs, but here in the UK, I feel like I’m having another new conversation with another new person  pretty much every new hour of the day.

It’s so so different, but I love it!

Thank you Little Mix for bringing us on this journey with you!

Thoughts from an airplane – Manjo

Manjo here. Just turned 21 and flying to London to support Little Mix on tour. As 21st birthday presents go, that has to be a pretty cool one!!phone booth with the Big Ben

I’ve been to the UK before and I’ve always found British people very friendly –  though I don’t always understand all the accents. As we’re touring all over, I’m hoping to get a bit more of an education.:)

But won’t I miss good old homely Baltimore? Sure I will! I come from a really close family and it will be kind of weird to not be able to drop into see my cousins or sit down and talk with my dad whenever I want. But mostly ( don’t judge me, dad, uncles, aunts cousins and grandparents) I am going to miss the home cooked Filipino food. I love my food.  LOVE it!!!!! How else do you think I get this tall?

I’m hoping I might be able to find some Filipino food in the UK. Surely I’ll be able to find some. Maybe…Hopefully…. Perhaps…. Anybody know a good UK based  Filipino restaurant?
